Taj-ma-hal is from the Columbus Zoo, Ohio. All captive white tigers are descendents of one male white tiger that was captured in India in 1951. He was mated with a normally colored female tiger and had normally colored cubs. He was then mated with one of the female cubs resulting in white tiger cubs.
