| Guerrero was a thriving village from its inception in 1750 until 1950 when the town was flooded during the construction of the Falcon Dam. The Catholic church in the center of the montage shows the water line. The first time I was there workers were trying to rebuild the church from donations and a small fee taken by an old lady at the enterance of the town. Do a search on the internet for more info, it is worth the effort. |
